Hey Y'all! I grew up in a tiny town on the South Shore of Massachusetts called Scituate (sit-chu-ate). Moving to Virginia in 2010 was an adventure I took on without fear or reservation, looking at it as a much-needed change from the sheltered, but blessed life I loved in New England. Virginia has become home to me, and it has changed my life in so many ways.
When I was deep into Graphic Design for work, I tended to prefer the print-specific realm over web. I gravitate towards a more regimented, grid system, but enjoy having fun with typography and color. When I was only a few years out of college, my ideal job was to design on higher end periodicals, breaking up typography with form, color, higherachy and space. White space is your friend after all.
The intent of graphic design, be it print or web, is to be informative and engaging, and as such, I try to complete my art with the intent to perform accordingly.
